  1. Toubkal National Park “Mountainous park of Morocco”:

The highest in North Africa with its 4,167 meters above sea level, it is the first national park of the Kingdom of Morocco. It is a marvelous landscape where you can meet mouflons that inhabit the plains, people come there for meditation and to enjoy the beauty of the panorama, but also to do some  activities such as hiking, climbing and to discover the authenticity of the Berber villages which perpetuate the traditions of their ancestors.  This is the most famous national parks of Morocco and it is  located at the outskirts of Marrakech!

  1. Souss-Massa National Park “Vast natural area with rare birds”:

Located in the south of Agadir, the Souss Massa National Park is an essential natural jewel of the region. Its landscapes and panoramic views are of exceptional beauty. Here you will discover the rivers Oued Souss and Oued Massa and where you can also spot rare birds. IT’s the paradise of ornithologists as the park is an important migratory stage for several species of birds. The park is not far from Agadir!

  1. Talassemtane National Park “A park for hiking and exploring the forest”:

Talassemtane National Park offers natural landscapes of great heritage value across the Mediterranean. It offers deep and steep valleys, carved by torrential Oued (rivers), gorges with impressive cliffs and caves in abundance. Guided hikes or 4×4 tours will take you into the mountains and valleys to enjoy the impressive views of the countryside. The famous site here is Akchour site which is not far from the city of Chefchaouen.

  1. Ifrane National Park “Atlas Cedars and Barbary Macaques”:

The Ifrane National Park extends over the largest portion of the Central Middle Atlas, it is one of the most representative Moroccan natural parks by the richness of its ecosystem and its landscapes. It is a favorite tourist hub for hikers and fishermen. It is home to the largest cedar forest in Morocco with its little prankster monkeys (endemic macaques). In winter, the snow still gives it a magical aura! The park is not far from the city of Fez and Rabat!

  1. Tazekka National Park “Park, red deer, hiking”:

Tazekka National Park is located in the northernmost part of the Middle Atlas, near the city of Taza, it is home to varied landscapes as well as many mammals and raptors. The Tazekka is the main source of spring water for an entire region located downstream, it is nicknamed the water tower. The park is inhabited by Atlas deer and Barbary deer, which were reintroduced there in 1994 in a 500-hectare enclosure. Visiting this park will give you a real change of scenery. Two official campsites also exist in the park, they are only open in July and August. The park is not far from Fez.

  1. Al-Hoceima National Park “Park and osprey”:

The Al Hoceima National Park is located to the east of the Strait of Gibraltar on an area of ​​48,460 ha including 19,000 ha in the maritime zone. The richness of the fauna of Al Hoceima National Park is reflected in the existence of a large colony of Osprey, a bird species threatened with extinction across the Mediterranean and by the presence of three species of dolphins: the common dolphin, the blue and white dolphin as well as the bottlenose dolphin. The main human activities which take place on the site of the national park are agriculture at the level of small cereal areas in association with almond trees and grazing. 

  1. Khenifiss National Park “Lagoon and park”:

The Khenifiss National Park located in the southwest of Morocco, the site was classified as a national park in 2006. The Khenifiss National Park represents the only Saharan lagoon in North Africa and the largest in the region. along the Moroccan Atlantic coast, it is also a stopover site for a large number of migratory birds of the Western Palearctic. It sometimes shelters more than 20,000 water birds during the wintering period.That’s why is one of the best national parks of Morocco.
