5-DAY MARRAKECH DISCOVERY TOUR

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, our English-speaking driver will meet and greet you. You will receive assistance at the airport before being transferred to your hotel or Riad (which you have booked independently). After checking in, you’ll have some free time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, our driver will take you to enjoy a welcome dinner at the renowned Dar Zellij restaurant, the perfect introduction for those eager to experience authentic Moroccan cuisine.

Day 2: Marrakech Discovery Tour

Start your day with breakfast at your Riad before meeting your local guide for a tour of Marrakech’s stunning gardens. Begin with the Majorelle Garden, designed by the famous French architect Jacques Majorelle, then proceed to the Menara Gardens. You’ll also visit the beautiful Jardin Secret (Secret Garden of Marrakech). An optional lunch can be arranged at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, embark on a cultural tour of the city, where you’ll see iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Minaret, Djamaa El Fna, and the renowned Bahia Palace. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your Riad for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Excursion to the Atlas Mountains and Agafay Desert

After breakfast at your Riad, embark on an exciting excursion to the Atlas Mountains and Agafay Desert. Your first stop will be the enchanting Anima Garden, a magical space filled with vibrant plants, art installations, and sculptures, created by artist André Heller. This garden is a feast for the senses, blending nature and art in a unique experience.

Next, visit the Bio-Aromatic Garden in Ourika, a tranquil oasis dedicated to aromatic and medicinal plants. Here, you’ll learn about the cultivation and uses of various herbs and plants, enhancing your understanding of local agricultural practices.

For lunch, you’ll enjoy a traditional meal with locals in a Berber house, offering an authentic taste of Berber hospitality and cuisine.

In the afternoon, venture to the Agafay Desert, a rocky desert landscape just outside Marrakech. In this stunning setting, you can choose from optional activities such as quad biking, buggy riding, and camel riding. As the day ends, take in the breathtaking sunset over the desert before driving back to Marrakech for an overnight stay at your Riad.

Day 4: Moroccan Culinary Arts Cooking Class

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel and transfer to the Moroccan Museum of Culinary Arts. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the rich culinary traditions of Morocco. The museum offers an in-depth look at the history and techniques of Moroccan cuisine, providing the perfect backdrop for your cooking class. You will learn to prepare a delicious chicken tagine with candied lemon and green olives, as well as a traditional Moroccan salad. Enjoy the fruits of your labor with a self-prepared lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll have leisure time to explore the vibrant souks of Marrakech, where you can shop for unique crafts, spices, and souvenirs. Alternatively, you might choose to unwind with a traditional Hammam treatment, a luxurious Moroccan spa experience that includes steam baths, exfoliation, and massages, leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated.

Day 5: Departure from Marrakech

According to your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to Marrakech Airport. Our team will ensure a smooth and timely departure, assisting with any last-minute needs. Safe travels!

Prices are per person, per booking, and are listed in US dollars. All published prices are valid for the whole year except during the new year holiday period where special rates will be applied (please contact us at sales@coloredmorocco.com if you wish to book this tour between Dec 25th to Jan 1st).  Rates are based on the number of participants.
