This day trip is an invitation to discover this breathtaking Medina where you will be offred as much mint tea as hospitality and where you can take the time to let go and calmly enjoy the cultural diversity of northern Morocco.

We offer one mineral water per person onboard. Our local guide will meet you upon arrival in Chefchaouen. For transfers between Tangiers and Chefchaouen, our English speaking driver/guide will be with you.

N.B: If you are already staying in Chefchaouen and you want to join your friends (the tour is private) coming from Tangiers then you will not be charged for transfers between Tangiers and Chefchaouen.

9:00 AM - Pickup

For day trips from Tangiers, our English speaking driver/guide will pick you up from your lodging location. Then you will head to Chefchaouen via the Rif mountains.

10:00 AM - Meet your local guide

Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, our local English speaking guide will take you on your magical guided tour.

10:05 AM - Chefchaouen guided tour

Your guided tour of the blue city will start at Outa El Hammam square, the oldest and largest square of the city that it has become, over time, one of the must-see places for all the city visitors. Then you will discover the the Kasbah of Ali Ben Rached, one of the main historical attractions of the Medina of Chefchaouen. It will probably not be the most impressive kasbah you have had the chance to visit during your stay in Morocco, but it’s still an interesting monument to discover. Within its walls, built in 1471 by Ali Ben Rached, you will find a magnificent garden and beautiful and splendid views of the city. You will continue your visit by the discovery of the old Medina with its narrow alleys, mosques, Zaouias and gates. THe visit will end at Ras El Ma spring, the highest point of the medina and from where you can take some stunning picture of the panoramic views of the city.

1:00 PM - Lunch time

Our guide will take to one of the most beautiful restaurants in Chefchaouen where you can enjoy your lunch.

2:00 PM - Tour at leisure

After lunch, take some free time to stroll this magical city at your own pace before going back to Tangiers.

3:00 PM - Way back to Tangiers

Transfer back to Tangiers.

4:00 PM - Drop off

Arrival to Tangiers and drop off at your preferred location. End of our services.

Prices are per person, per booking, and are listed in USD. All published prices are valid for the whole year except during the new year holiday period where special rates will be applied (please contact us at sales@coloredmorocco.com if you wish to book this tour between Dec 25th to Jan 1st). Rates are based on the number of participants.

Children aged between 2 and 12 may receive up to 50% discount

I went away for two days with my teenage daughter on Colored Morocco private day tours of Tangier and Chefchaouen and could not recommend it and the team highly enough. From the moment we were picked up . Mustapha, our driver was very friendly and gave us an introduction into Moroccan culture. We spent the first day in Tangier visiting all the agreed sites and spent the night in a fabulous Riad in the old city. Mustapha ensured that we felt safe and confident at all times and had a very warm and friendly personality. We felt comfortable asking him any questions we had and he was more than happy to answer them all. He did everything in his power to ensure we saw everything that tangier has to offer. The following morning he drove us to Chefchaouen, and again the day was wonderful. Not only did we explore the touristy sites. It was my daughters birthday that day and Mustapha ordered a cake for us without our knowledge to a restaurant that we had our dinner in that night ourselves. It was such a surprise and was a thoughtful gesture that my daughter will always appreciate. This was typical of him, he went above and beyond the typical task of a tour driver. He seemed to know what we needed before we knew ourselves. Colored Morocco was a fantastic and great company. Again the Riad that night was spectacular and breakfast was delicious. We felt very safe to walk around by ourself at night in Chefchaouen and enjoyed the freedom to wander the streets. After breakfast we headed back to Tangier. We had a fantastic time on the tour and would recommend people to book a tour with Colored Morocco and to relax and enjoy the tour as it will be exactly what you agree with. They are fantastic people and it gave us a wonderful understanding of a great culture.

The Right People Make a Great Morocco Tour Our tour company, Odynovo, arranged a fantastic trip for my wife and I to Morocco. Any trip outside the country is very dependent on the people assisting you in the journey. Fortunately, our travel consultant Reinself Wei and the Morocco representative for Odynovo Mounir Akajia are the best in the business. They set us up with a terrific guide and driver as well as excellent local guides and amazing hotels including in the desert area and the beautiful city of Marrakech. When we needed assistance getting a reservation at a popular dining g nightclub with a traditional show, we called Mounir from the road while driving and he made it happen!
