7-DAY MARRAKECH & THE ATLAS TOUR

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you’ll be greeted by our English-speaking driver/guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Marrakech. After settling in, embark on an exploration of Marrakech’s vibrant Medina. In the evening, experience the lively atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna square, where food stalls, performers, and storytellers converge to create an unforgettable ambiance. Enjoy street food delights before returning to your hotel.

Day 2: Discover Marrakech

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before meeting your local English-speaking guide for a private tour of Marrakech’s cultural landmarks. Visit iconic sites such as the Koutoubia minaret, Medersa Ben Youssef, and Bahia Palace. Opt for lunch at a terrace café overlooking Jamaa El Fna square. In the afternoon, explore the bustling Souks, witnessing skilled craftsmen at work. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a horse-drawn carriage tour to Majorelle Garden, a botanical masterpiece created by French painter Majorelle. Optionally, visit the nearby YSL museum. Indulge in lunch at a local restaurant and spend the afternoon exploring Marrakech at your own pace. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Imlil

After breakfast, depart for Imlil and the Atlas Mountains via the picturesque Ourika Valley. En route, visit Anima Garden, a serene oasis designed by Swiss artist André Heller, and “Le Paradis du Safran,” an organic saffron farm run by Christine Ferrari. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Imlil. Relax with mint tea at your accommodation and soak in the tranquility of the Berber village. Overnight stay at your Riad.

Day 5: Imlil – Atlas Mountains – Agafay Desert

Start your day with breakfast at the Riad before joining a hiking tour led by a mountain guide. Visit a traditional Berber village, have lunch with locals, and learn about their way of life. Optionally, visit the Assafou Foundation, supporting education in rural areas. Afterwards, journey to the Agafay stone desert for a camel ride and sunset viewing. Spend the night at your desert camp.

Day 6: Agafay – Lalla Takerkoust Dam – Marrakech

Enjoy breakfast at the desert camp and a free morning for optional activities like a quad ride. Depart for Lalla Takerkoust dam for lunch at Kasbah Beldi before returning to Marrakech. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech

Have breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Marrakech airport for your departure flight, concluding our services. Safe Travels!

Prices are per person, per booking, and are listed in US dollars. All published prices are valid for the whole year except during the new year holiday period where special rates will be applied (please contact us at sales@coloredmorocco.com if you wish to book this tour between Dec 25th to Jan 1st).  Rates are based on the number of participants.
