This day trip is a chance to discover some of the sublime locations at the gateway of the Sahara desert. Ouarzazate, built in 1928 and is now, among other things, the starting point for trips into Southern Morocco. And Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several famous movies were shot there such as Laurence of Arabia, Gladiator and much more.

We offer one mineral water per person onboard. Our local guide will meet you upon arrival in Ouarzazate. For transfers between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, our English speaking driver/guide will be with you.
8:00 AM - Pickup
For Marrakech day trips, our English speaking driver/guide will pick you up from your lodging location. Then you will head to Ouarzazate via the high Atlas mountains. Admire the beautiful scenery as you travel in the Atlas Mountains. Make your first stop in a small village called Ait Ben Barka, near the beautiful natural landscape around. Explore the area with your driver and learn more about the schedule and sites of your excursion. Your next short break will be at the Tizi n’Tichka pass, 2,260 m above sea level.
11:30 AM - Meet your local guide in Ouarzazate
Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, meet your local English speaking guide and join your fabulous guided tour.
11:35 AM - Ouarzazate tour
Your visit will start at the famous cinematographic Atlas Studios, It is the largest film studio in the world. It notably hosted the Game of Thrones series. You will have the opportunity to visit the studios at your leisure. Learn about the actors and movies made here and take some photos of the unique Moroccan landscape. Then you will go discover the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most historic and most preserved Kasbahs of Ouarzazate.
2:00 PM - Lunch time
Your guide will take to one of the most beautiful restaurants in Ouarzazate where you can enjoy your lunch.
3:00 PM - Aït Ben Haddou tour
The next and final visit after lunch will be the famous Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is recognized as being one of the most extraordinary ksour in Morocco.
5:00 PM - Way back to Marrakech
End of your tour and transfer back to Marrakech
8:00 PM - Drop off
Arrival in Marrakech and drop off at your hotel. End of our services.
